Meeting the Demands of the

North Slope Today and Tomorrow

Fairweather, LLC, Alaska's leading provider of remote medical, meteorological and expediting services, brings a whole new level of transportation and logistics support to the North Slope.

Deadhorse Aviation Center (DAC) is designed to provide oil companies and their suppliers with a safe and efficient aviation command center to successfully manage onshore operations and Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) exploration and production activities on the Arctic Ocean and Beaufort Sea. Located at the FAA-approved Deadhorse Airport, DAC offers secure access to the taxiway and runway, as well as access roads and the ocean. Since opening in the summer of 2012, demand has remained high for DAC's hangar, terminal and cargo-handling services. The 10.4-acre equipment staging and storage yard is filling up as are office spaces. Accommodations for sleeping and dining are near capacity. The Fairweather Deadhorse Medical Clinic has become widely known as the premier occupational and emergency medical facility on the North Slope.

In response to this demand, DAC has purchased a second hangar and plans are underway to develop a 13-acre cargo and logistics facility not restricted to aviation usage. The design calls for warehouse condos, additional office space and single-status rooms for crew and staff of the DAC complex. For aviation service providers, DAC has planned a third hangar capable of accommodating C-130-size aircraft with additional offices and crew rooms. Click here to view the DAC expansion plan.

Before finalizing the master plan for its expansion, DAC is seeking input from prospective tenants with a desire for built-to-suit spaces and other specialized needs. For more information, call Lori Davey at 907-267-4602.
